DT @ TC40
Big news this week as Dopetracks was one of 140 companies featured at the first annual TechCrunch40 conference in San Francisco, California. TechCrunch is a popular blog among the internet startup community.
The Dopetracks demo was one of the most popular tables in the room. We had your dopest tracks blasting on a pair of Bose speakers and there was always a small crowd of people having a good time listening and recording.
The Wall Street Journal, MTV Networks, and many other websites & publications were there to cover the event. We’ve already received some good press from PCWorld and Shoemoney.
As part of the conference, Dopetracks offered any conference attendee a chance to win an iPhone if they could come up with the best rap about their startup to be recorded that day. There was very little excitement in the morning but as the day progressed a few promising contestants made the competition very interesting. In the end, the clear winner and the contestant who put in the most effort and heart into his entry was Ben Gleib, a professional stand up comedian representing Docstoc.com… a pretty cool new way of finding any kind of Document.
