Some DT News
The mixtape has been going really well so far. We have gotten permission to download beats from some of the winning producers and we are still waiting for a few. The ones we have permission for are featured on the mixtape homepage (http://www.dopetracks.com/contests/mixtape_beats) under the section “Download Mp3s”. Previously there was a “download” button next to each track, but it has been eliminated.
As you may have noticed, we have upgraded our player. It has a new look and now switches between the profile pic of the emcee and the producer. More importantly, it should load tracks much faster so you can spend more time recording and less time waiting. There may still be small issues, but they should all be worked out quickly. We put these blog posts so we can get your feedback directly.. so do let us know what types of issues you may be experiencing so we can pick up the slack.

nice one with the players.. they look nicer and seem smoother (diggin gthe picture thing too).. tell me, us, was that thing about it playing faster if you play with the volume as complete hoax? not a bad way to pass the seocnds anyway, but i wanted to know..

yeah everytime i record the words become off beat… it’s always behind for me…

i take it all back.. the site is working very badly. over the weekend i just gave up trying to log in after a while… even when you can log in most pages were returning error messages. i’m sure you’re on it (or its something localised to here) but i thought i’d mentioned… old cats like me can live with it, but new ones wouldnt give it 3 goes.

sup dt!… lovin the new player!… not that its an issue … the track will still play and everything, however, the player won’t display the time you know? “00:00″ that kinda thing… not a big deal i don’t really care ,but, u asked for any small issues…STAY UP DT!

Yo. I got a serious question. Is this site just for fun or a joke. How u gona just freestyle on here. And then colab on a freestyle, 1 minute freestyle. Anywayz. Can U put ya music on here.
