FL Studio Producer Battle Series!
So today we unveil a new contest for all you dope producers on the site. Image-Line, the kind folks behind FL Studio have been generous enough to offer a sweet bundle of software and accessories as part of 4 grand prizes we’ll be awarding in December.
This is how it works. We’ve compiled audio samples for you to download, mashup, remix and turn into an original beat for consideration. Once you’ve made your beat and exported it as an MP3, you’ll submit it using the contest page form.
We will pick a winning beat once a week starting December 3rd and ending on December 28th. For full details on the contest and prizes visit the FL Studio Contest Page Have questions? Visit the new topic in the forum. Please note: only members with verified email addresses will be eligible so if you’re unverified, we’ll show you how to fix that on the contest page.
Remember the contest doesn’t officially start till Monday, but we’re giving you a few days to get ready. We’ll update samples each week to keep things interesting.
For the rest of you wondering about the Mixtape Contest, patience… Grasshoppers. The judges are in the process of reviewing the entries and we’ll announce the winners on Dec. 3rd.

I think I’ll try to make three beats a week as a personal challenge during this comp… and throughout the whole month ill try to keep it versitile… more importantly… I hope my fans enjoy the music I make… the competition is cool and I would love to win… but now that I’m in my 20’s I guess it’s just time for me stop running from myself and just face who I am… I’m not a business man I’m a musician. There I finally said it… The hood raised me “get money… get money… get money” but this is what I love… and this is what I guess I was born to do… I don’t know why I can do it. I just can… and when I don’t do it… I’m not at peace with myself. All beats made with FL… so I hope the judges and the competition even if they not feeling ma low budget sound… can at least apprieciate that.
