Word up my DEETZ!!! KKRUNCH2 is here!
Firstly, you can hear it on the DT player but make sure you do DOPE UP THE MIX TRACK HERE so we can get it frontpage.
You can download the whole mix for your cheap ipod rip-off thing DOWNLOAD HERE (right click and ’save as’ to download - if you have any problems then get at me).This mix is a little different - a lot more tracks and tighter cutting, so tracks are even shorter than last time. I started off thinking February sucked for music but as I went through it I found more and more. More than I thought at first. I had a couple of weeks out so I missed a lot of stuff which i had to go back and check and I keep hearing new tracks that i wished I’d put in (which is why its so long and so many tracks!).
A lot of the tracks are battle tracks from Saijlence’s competition (what happened with that?? Did anyone win??), or other diss tracks, so the whole mix has a sort of battle theme. I’ve tried to mix it up a little, put fresh styles on there as well as the heavy hitters. I didn’t even look at the front pages/ dope points on this one and a LOT of the tracks are ones that have less than 10 dope points. In a way, this is my antidote to promotion on DT, because it doesn’t matter what people say - it goes on if it fits, and that’s it.
Y’all gotta be real proud of yourselves whether you’re on the mix or not.. the whole community influences what we’re all making so you’re still part of it. Greatest apologies if I cut your verse out of a track or if I just didn’t feature you - it’s probably because you didn’t sent it or I didn’t notice it or maybe, just maybe, it’s wack.
It’s almost 5am here so I’m not going to put the track listing up yet - I’ll get that done for the weekend. Maybe. But for now, download the damn thing and have a listen, dope it up and if your track is on there, do me a favour and send me the link to your track so that I can do a nice track listing with links…. (i know i said put them in the comments but it’s not working for some reason). Some of the new stars on there are Trilogy, JustListen, Eternal Chronicle…

yeah i do understand totally, i know it would annoy me if i was an emcee too… you got on twice even though maybe the tracks didnt link/mix well with others, but i felt that you battled like the Taleban in the comp and i though they repped this month pretty well.. but think about people who made the beats and i cut them out off their own tracks (BHH, monstermatt, the guy who did bingo collab), plus all the other cats that were on a collab and they got canned… hell, i had to pick one main verse outta 9 on the dopetracks clan wutang joint… poor old nicatein too… damn.. i feel a bit bad about that sorta thing, but i had to be ruthless.
i prolly would have liked the songs a little longer but this one i got almost twice as many tracks.. theres a lot more artists on this one.
