I feel where you comin from Bruh. DT has made me step up as a artist and I find myself not really looking at all music the same. I t made me appreciate the music of the artist who take their time to do it right because it has made me do that. I feel any artist that wanna get their self to gether should be on this site. and as of late I been on DT just looking for certain beats so I can create not just play around. since I’ve been on here I been taking my craft seriously. But yea I feel you the radio dose suck sometime.

your right k.. everyone like good music/….for whatever type..genre…good music will always come to the surface somewhere…somehow..
theres alot of mother nature going on around the world it seems …cyclones,hurricanes,..volcanoes to…crazy stuff…everything is a precursor to something else..its wild how it works

good luck with your volcano, sounds pretty fiesty. as far as the “deetz” go, i know you’re (and i probably shouldn’t say this, but what the hay) pretty upbeat about the way dopetracks is right now, but here’s some food for thought: positivity vs. violence… i’ve been struggling since the very beginning to understand why some of the more violent stuff isn’t cut. i mean to say i personally have observed some extremely aggressive, assaulting comments/tracks. in fact, thinking about it now i would wager thirty percent is geared toward that. if the national socialists (an american neo-nazi party) ever were to devote music and web-space to provoking each other into fistfights, every minority community would be laughing until the cows came home, but when it’s disaffected urban populations doing the same thing we somehow feel the need to coddle it as ‘artistic expression.’ don’t get me wrong, i’d rather be on the “deetz” than in an art museum anyday, and minority communities (did you guess that i’m a WASPy prick yet?) have a right to hold their ground, yet still i’m feeling the need to say something. your other post about the “gun goes click” cliche was decent, and worthy of the blog, but i think the problem here may be more serious than just a matter of styles. i know these people aren’t your kids, your children, but as such you do have a mother hen air about you that will definately continue to change things for the positive. you got a lot of eggs, lady. godspeed.

Completely agree with ya on all that KK. I have lived in Australia now for over 3 years and the best part is that I have no idea what is hot on the charts. You kinda have to go seek that music out here, whereas in Canada you cannot escape it. I think DT quality and talent has gone down the toilet in alot of ways lately, however the best stuff is still hot as ever. Its just seems to be alot more diluted with garbage lately. But I’m always, bumpin the KKrunch mixes in my mp3 player, due to the fact that its raw, dope and completely original. And that shows that the best stuff on the site is still dope.
